Perfect if you're a bit last minute

A fun Father's Day colouring activity
by Natalie Keeler

It’s Father’s Day on 19th June. Of course it is. We’ve know this for weeks. There’s been aisles dedicated to it in the supermarket. And yet, here we are, a couple of days to go… and we still haven’t bought anything.

If you’re after a quick idea that’s still special, these free printable colouring sheets are ideal. Choose from a cute colouring page or ‘World’s Best Dad’ certificate, and then give them to your child to colour in while you treat dad to a lie-in on Sunday morning.

Printable Father's Day certificate

Sometimes, dads need reminding just how great they are. Print this certificate for the special man in their life, then your child chooses the award they’d like to give their dad (funniest, coolest, kindest). There’s space for them to write their name along the bottom too.

Your child will feel so fantastic when they start to see their picture come to life – and colouring-in is a fun, easy way to help them develop creativity skills, pencil control, concentration and patience. They can practise their handwriting and spelling when you print off the Father's Day certificate too.
